ARREST & CONTROL TECHNIQUES

4 HOURS INSTRUCTION & CERTIFICATION

The course will provide the trainee with the topics of arrest and control techniques.

The trainee will develop the necessary tactical knowledge and skills to safely and effectively arrest and control a suspect. The course consists of a hands-on and practical skills for arrest and control training for security officers.

The principles and techniques taught in this course are designed to maximize officer safety when dealing with compliant, non-compliant or assaultive subjects while at the same time minimizing the risk of potential injury to the officer or the subject. Awareness, pre-planning and communication skills are stressed in order to avoid or verbally defuse the majority of potentially dangerous confrontations. When those efforts fail officers will feel confident knowing that they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
